FIRST CONTACT PHYSIO A team of advanced physiotherapists who can help diagnose and arrange initial treatment for musculoskeletal problems
PHYSIO DIRECT Physio Direct can assess your condition, investigate as appropriate and escalate onwards to other services as necessary
GETUBETTER Self-care musculoskeletal (MSK) service to help manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions or injuries at home, work and on the move
This is a face-to-face and telephone appointment service for initial assessment of musculoskeletal conditions. You may be directed to this service by another clinician within our practices.
To access this service yourself, please ring the reception team of your GP surgery.
LOCATIONS
This service is designed to help ensure that people with musculoskeletal problems such as back pain, neck pain and other joint pains receive the right treatment, in the right place, at the right time.
Treatment plans may include exercises to improve your strength and activity levels, advice on lifestyle changes and education on pain management strategies; some therapists can also offer injections for pain relief from various conditions and they can also refer onwards to other appropriate services where needed.
